Do You Prefer Watching Horror Movies During Halloween Season?

This weekend, the box office will welcome two new horror flicks when Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 and The Final Destination hit theaters. For some reason I always think it's kinda strange when scary movies come out in the summertime — particularly any film in the Halloween franchise. It's partly because the weather doesn't create the right ambiance (not as many howling winds), and partly because it just seems like poor marketing. So tell me — do you prefer watching horror movies during the Halloween season?

i love horror movies and will watch them anytime. every year around halloween, i rewatch the classics.

My friends and I actually have "scary movie nights" that kick off in September. There are just so many good fright films, and October isn't long enough to fit them all in!

I love horror movies anytime but we do watch alot of them around Halloween. I agree they should have released the new Halloween movie near Halloween. I really want to see it but i have no money this weekend, maybe next weekend.

I associate halloween season with girls, sluts, and girls wanting to dress like sluts. So, horror movies aren't reserved for that season. I don't watch many, since they all got pretty terrible.

I do prefer scary movies during the Fall and Halloween seasons. It doesn't feel as scary when it is 95 degrees outside and the sun is shining.

these movie companies have no idea what they are doing....horror movies should come out around Halloween to make more money...especially if they are called HALLOWEEN! jeez.

the movie is called Halloween- yet its coming out end of August? It would probably have a better run if it did come out around Halloween, I think..Yah scary movies are an anytime kind of thing, but I definitely enjoy them more around Halloween season-

I clicked yes, but I really love them anytime of the year (as long as its dark outside,lol). I just REALLY like them even more durring Halloween because there is just something in the air that makes it feel different.
