Do You Agree With This Week's Winner and Loser on Project Runway?

This week's challenge on Project Runway put the contestants to the test of recycling a wedding dress from women who were divorced (by the way, did Tim Gunn repeatedly referring to the women as divorcees just seem so very . . . retro?). The designers had to recreate something wearable for the women from the fabric of the dress — meaning lots of polyester and acetate to work with, which I think made for a particularly difficult and creative challenge. Ultimately, the winner was someone who hasn't won a challenge yet, and the loser is someone who's frequently been on the bottom and, in my opinion, was just biding time on the runway. Oh, and on a geeky note, if you think you could have done better, watch out for next year's Project Runway Wii video game!

I much preferred Carol Hannah's dress to Jordana's ... (and it is CH's dress that's in the picture above). And I thought Nicholas' outfit was brutal! How was he not eliminated this episode? Agreed cambrianoelle, Carol Hannah should win sometime. I love her stuff too!

there were more hideous pieces (cough cough nicholas cough logan cough cough) than Epperson's. if he had only made a few changes, it wouldn't even be horrible at all. i actually liked the design on the middle piece too...

how the hell was Nicholas not in the bottom?!!!!! this judging made me so angry! Epperson's dress may not have been the judges' cup of tea (I loved it; but I can understand why someone might not), but at least it was innovative, pretty, and well-constructed. there was no justification to send him home; I am so mad! Logan's outfit was pretty bad, but I am glad he did not get sent home - I think he is very talented. I actually thought Althea's was pretty bad - the dress was ugly and the ties in the back were so poorly constructed! but I wouldn't have sent her home either. Nicholas should have gone home; PERIOD. I just can't see how in any universe the judges could be pleased with that awful creation...

I'm so sad they eliminated Epperson. I really don't think he deserved it. Logan's outfit was awful. I agree with the winner though. I loooved Gordana's dress.

Is the winning outfit incorrect? I'm almost positive that it was another dress of the same color but not the one you have posted.

Gordana won! Woohoo!Sending Epperson home was a huge disappointment. I know his dress wasn't exactly flattering, but it wasn't that bad and I liked his previous work. He's had some good design ideas and on top of that, he seems to be a really nice person. Logan on the other hand - I honestly can't remember anything he did. The pants were a disgrace. I mean, I can do better in one afternoon.I really hope the eliminated designers will have a chance to redeem themselves and make comeback.

I loved Gordana's dress. I didn't like the sleeves on Irina's but the color was gorgeous and I think Shirin did an amazing job with what she had to work with (client and material wise). I also don't understand why Carol Hannah hasn't been in the top three- her designs are always so good. Nikolas should have been in the bottom but there just wasn't any room- all four outfits were awful. I really think Logan moved on because he is so cute. I was sad to see Epperson go but his dress was really bad.

leslievanhoute, I completely agree! If someone didn't see the show, why would they be reading this anyway? lol But Epperson should not have gone home. It wasn't even that bad and all of his other designs were good. And if he had made the bottom more form fitting, the dress would have been great. Christopher's was horrid but I love him so...I was torn.

Although I LIKE Irina's stuff, I can't quite understand why the judge's go ga-ga over her stuff... I LOVE all of Carol Hanna's stuff and she's never in top 2 that I can remember, so maybe I'm a little bitter. I don't think Epperson should have gone home because at least his was made well. It was kind of sad to see his divorcee pre-runway talking about how everyone was telling her they thought she'd win and how she loved her dress - and then they tore him apart! I really liked Epperson as he seemed as a person, but it gets so hard when it comes down to the last couple of episodes! i want everyone to win!

I LOVED the winning dress. I want one for myself. I thought that the trousers the other bottom two dude made were awful and he deserved to go home based on that design, though this was the first episode I've been able to catch, so I don't know their history.

Epperson going home..BOOO! I think the designers entire portfolio up until that point needs to be taken into account, and Epperson was a stand out. Logan hasn't done anything memorable, neither has Althea or Shirin. And don't get me started on Irina...

Why is this post so vague? How hard is it to say in the post Jordana won, Epperson lost? Is this to appease all those cry babies who scream "oh no, spoiler! spoiler!" AFTER the show has aired? Screw those people. The conversation does not stop just because those people time shift their programming. If you're afraid of spoilers, go stick your head in the sand.Back to the topic- the chubby faced guy with the greasy hair better be glad he had immunity, because his outfit was awful. Carol Hannah's dress was awesome, should have been top thee, and the shorter girl (I get Shirin and Irina confused") did a fantastic job threading the wedding dress. My favorite part of the show was when all the guys were laughing when she was telling Tim Gunn her client's requests. Though, I do think she was mocking her client a little during judging.

I agreed with Epperson going home but I truly think Irina should have won the challenge. Her dress was so much nicer.

Apperson's dress wasn't nearly as awful as Cute Boy's look, but Cute Boy is so cute...so, that's why they kept him. I also liked Irina's dress, and thought it was better than Jordana's, but I guess they didn't want to let her win 3(!) challenges...and maybe wanted to inspire some drive and competition in Jordana--who is excellent at construction, though maybe not innovation.

I think Epperson had a lot of good ideas but he over thought it and ended up shooting himself in the foot. There is no way that his outfit was worse than Christopher's silver hefty bag. Ultimately I though Nicolas should have been called out for not using very much of the dress and Althea's was just freaking ugly, i believe that in past seasons ugly often got people elminated. I loved Irina's dress (although someone is getting a little big for her britches) and Carol Hannah's! Shirin's did with what she could be and i couldn't be happier that Gordana FINALLY won a challenge. Where is Nina? And why are Micheal's comments so tame?
