I think she is the right winner. I LOVE Jordin and think she is awesome. She's my age and she can sing like that?? DAY-um!! I think Blake is pretty awesome too but Jordin can REALLY sing!! + She has the look of an American Idol!! Hopefully she will be as successful as Kelly and Carrie (unlike Fantasia and Ruben)

I know Blake personally and he's an amazing guy. I agree Jordin was the better singer but Blake is so much more entertaining! Blake has a great career ahead of him, no doubt. Jordin will put out a typical AI album and good for her! She's young (as we all know, lord knows they mentioned it enough on the show) and will benefit from the help and guidance AI will give her. Thanks Buzz and Pop for your great, unbiased recaps!

Haha I'm quite sure of what makes a good singer, but I'm just more a fan of Blake's style and personality. I find Jordin to be annoying, but I didn't care if she won. Blake will be okay on his own. I'll definitely be buying his CD when it comes out.

Neither my husband nor myself are little girls either, and we were voting for Blake :) As people said ablove Blake didn't need to win- after all, winning AI is no guarantee of high sales. (Taylor's hasn't sold that many more albums than Kellie Pickler, who came in like 6th)Also, if American Idol is strictly a "singing competition," then the real winner was sent home a week early.

JORDIN is the real singer! American Idol is supposed to be all about singers and not performers. Blake was good for all the little girls who don't know the definition of a good singer, all they know about is how cute a guy might look (not that Blake was cute at all). :oy: But I'm glad Jordin won it! :woohoo:

I have never really cared about this show. I'm hoping that this season either changes things with the way the show is run or ends the show altogether. It's irrelevant.

I don't watch but, a while ago when looking at a picture I guessed who the top 3 would be. I got two out of the three right. She was my number one. I should've put a bet on or something! :p

I was a tad upset that Blake didn't win. But I agree with JLew1982 ... Blake is better off doing his own thing. Can't wait for his album.

I was bummed. I really like Blake, BUT I have no doubt that producers have been lined up for some time to work with him. He won't have to do a cheesy American Idol-type album, which wouldn't suit him anyway. I thought his beatboxing was great tonight, though! Jordin is good; I just find her "blah." Carrie Underwood will always be MY favorite idol.

Honestly, I didn't watch. I have really watch American Idol since Kelly Clarkson. However, I did watch two episodes this season, one of which was last week's. Of the two I told my hubby Jordin is more marketable. But I think Blake probably already has a record deal. Let's see what they do with it?!
