We are sad to report that Dennis Hopper passed away this morning after battling prostate cancer for more than 10 years. The 74-year-old actor is known for tons of movie and TV roles, including Blue Velvet, Speed, and Easy Rider. Our thoughts go out to his four children and the rest of his loved ones.

Maybe I'm being old-fashioned, but when someone passes isn't it a little disrespectful to type RIP instead of taking the time to type rest in peace? I mean I know I'm being old fashioned. Sorry. Four children, wow. My best wishes go out to his family and friends who are missing him right now.

As someone who has witnessed the struggle of two relatives with terminal cancer, all I can say is that in the end, death is a blessing. My heart goes out to his family, especially his daughter Galen who is quite young. May he rest in peace.
