After more than 30 years in late-night TV, David Letterman took one last bow on Wednesday night with a star-studded final show. David, who has hosted the Late Show since 1993, expectedly kept things lighthearted and gave a hilarious monologue during his last show before retirement. Among his many jokes about old age, his eye sight, and taking Las Vegas by storm with his longtime band leader Paul Shaffer, David also said that he hopes to become the new face of Scientology now that he has so much free time.

In the weeks leading up to David's last show, a bevy of Hollywood stars have stopped by to give a proper send-off to their favorite host. The most memorable appearances include Julia Roberts giving him a steamy kiss, George Clooney handcuffing himself to David in protest, and Tina Fey stripping down to her underwear. Watch his funny monologue above, then check out how some other late-night hosts have said goodbye to David.
