Dancing With the Stars [1] crowned Olympic ice dancer Meryl Davis and her pro partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, its Mirror Ball winners [2] last night during the celebrity-filled finale for its 18th season. The twosome secured their win when they earned another perfect score (30) with their foxtrot/cha-cha fusion for their final dance. The win was a special one for Maks, who, despite being one of the most recognizable and popular pro dancers on the show, had never won a Mirror Ball before. "It's just plastic, but it means so much," he said upon winning. "And to [win] it with Meryl is a dream come true. There's a reason it didn't happen before. It's because I was meant to do it with her."

The runner-up spot went to paralympian Amy Purdy and her pro partner, Derek Hough. The two also earned a perfect score for their final dance but were just one point shy of Meryl and Maks's perfect combined score of 90. Meanwhile, the third-place spot went to former Full House star Candace Cameron Bure and her pro partner, Mark Ballas.
