Conan O'Brien's new show Conan premiered last night on TBS, and it feels great to have the comedian back. In his first show, he was visited by guests Seth Rogen and Lea Michele, but one of the best parts was Conan's cold open, which you can watch below. It's a satirically dramatized depiction of what happened between him and and NBC, and though it feels a little bit awkward at some points, it has some hilarious bits, like Conan trying out jobs as a party clown and fast food worker, plus a cameo from Jon Hamm as Don Draper.
Aside from the cold open, Conan proceeded pretty much as I expected — the guests expressed gratitude and told inappropriate anecdotes (I'm looking at you, Rogen), but it was marked with O'Brien's unmistakable brand of irreverent but warm humor. The masturbating bear even made an appearance! I'll keep tuning in, but what did you all think? Will Conan keep you glued to basic cable?
