Channing Tatum to Star in 21 Jump Street Reboot With Jonah Hill

Channing Tatum = Johnny Depp? That's the inevitable comparison from this latest bit of casting news: Tatum has been offered the lead role in the 21 Jump Street reboot opposite Jonah Hill. Hill is also writing the script for the movie, based on the '80s TV series about police officers who pose as high school students to combat crime. I guess I could stretch my brain to think that both Hill and Tatum could pass for high school kids, but let's face it: neither of them are Johnny Depp.
