Catch Up on "How I Met Your Mother" in Three Minutes

After much persuasion from Pop and several other friends, I've decided this will be the year I finally start watching "How I Met Your Mother" (OK, the Mandy Moore cameo on tonight's season premiere helped). But that left me with a dilemma: How can I possibly watch the first two seasons in time for the start of tonight's third?

i just watched the first few episodes of season 1 and like it so far. I think i'll rent the season 1 and 2 dvds and then watch season 3 when the new dvd comes out...next year. :) its more fun watching these shorter shows a few in a row i think.

Part of me is shocked and appalled at the idea of just watching season 1 & 2 highlights and professing to get the amazingness that is slap bet. The other part is overjoyed at the prospect of more viewers. It means better odds for the shows survival.
