The fate of the movie Case 39, starring Bradley Cooper and Renee Zellweger, was up in the air until recently, but it's been given new life via an October release date and a new trailer. Don't say I didn't warn you: this preview is not safe for the squeamish. In the film, Zellweger plays a social worker who takes on the case of a little girl (it's Bree Tanner from Eclipse) who appears to be stuck in the clutches of an abusive family. As if that weren't disturbing enough, it soon becomes clear that something much more sinister and supernatural is happening, and that the source of it all may be the child.
Bradley Cooper appears as a colleague who also ends up as a victim; it's his scene in the preview where things take a turn from eerie to downright disgusting. Witness a swarm of bees attacking Cooper, a corpse-like face emerging from the dark . . . you get the idea.
