There is no better mini-series out there, than The Pacific. Period.

It looks great, and I want to see it, but I was really surprised it beat out powerhouse Speilberg's The Pacific. I'm not saying it didn't deserve the win; I haven't seen any of the nominees; but this to me was a come from behind...
Carlos is an incredible movie which all should see especially since it fits in with today's real life beliefs; a. Carlos is the first terrorist to come after the US, b. his beliefs sound eerily similar to those of the left in this country and c. he's all about power and appeals to women very much with his looks, fashion sense, and belief that he's sooooo smart. Goes to show you that it doesn't matter what you look like or dress---it doesn't equate to intelligence.
