This Kid Has Been Living Your Music Festival Dream

Across a span of four years, Marcus Haney made his way into almost 50 festivals across the globe, never once bringing a ticket — but always bringing his camera. Since 2010, he's snuck into everything from Bonnaroo to Coachella to the Grammys, and he created a documentary about his experience called No Cameras Allowed. The leaked trailer has already gone viral, and in an interview with Noisey, Marcus opened up about what started everything: a girl. When he found out that a girl he liked was going to Coachella and he didn't have a ticket, he decided to sneak in, and the rest is history. At one point, he was even invited on tour after he handed one of his short films to a roadie, and his behind-the-scenes footage is incredible. Marcus told Noisey, "The trailer makes the film out to be about a guy sneaking into festivals, but it's really a coming-of-age story set in a music world. It's a love letter written to these festivals, in a way." Watch the leaked trailer above, then visit Marcus's website to see some incredible backstage snaps. Front Page
