December is just a few days away, which means the world of pop culture will officially take a turn for the merry. November dabbles in holiday stuff, but next month is where it really all begins. Growing up, I always considered Thanksgiving to be the kickoff point for watching holiday movies, but these days the fun seems to start even earlier (e.g., A Christmas Carol has been playing for weeks).

I have some friends that refuse to watch anything holiday-related when it's not in season, and others that don't care for festive entertainment at all. Where do you fall in the ranks? Do you have certain movies that you always start with and others that are saved for later in December?

As soon as possible! I love love love Christmas movies. They always make me yearn for snow and days off like when I was a kid.
1I watch them when I feel like seeing one, which can be any day of the year
2i used to not be a huge fan, but now i love the christmas story marathon on TBS (or TNT?), christmas vacation, and the claymation movies...particularly w/ Rudolf!!
3I only deliberately watch the Elf every holiday season. I'll watch other movies if they are on TV, but don't go out of my way to catch them. But there's no way I'd watch anything holiday/christmas related before Thanksgiving. Although I prefer to save the holiday cheer for after December 1st.
4Not until Black Friday. For me, Black Friday-Christmas Eve are the best time of year with all the holiday cheer
5I watched Fred Claus on Saturday and was starting to feel sorta Christmas-y
6i started to watch movies a little early this year - saw a christmas carol and watched elf...but i don't get really excited and into them until after black friday and then i'm all about watching as many christmas movies as i can!!
7I usually watch Love Actually at some point during the first week in December.
8Usually we start watching Christmas movies the weekend after Thanksgiving. It's a nice tradition.
9Thanksgiving Day
10Usually the day after Turkey Day. Christmas is my favorite holiday of all.
11yeah black friday for me as well! or thanksgiving day
