Well folks, we've officially entered TV rerun season. Much to my chagrin, shows like Grey's Anatomy and The Vampire Diaries will be missing in action until January, while others will drift in and out around the holidays. The biggest — and perhaps most disappointing — news is that Glee will be off the schedule from December 9 to April 13. That's a whopping four months!
I hate waiting for new episodes, but there is a bit of relief in giving my DVR a break — now I can finally catch up on all those shows that took the back burner the past few months. I've missed a few episodes of Cougar Town. What about you — are there certain shows you're looking forward to watching marathon-style over the next couple of months?

I started watching a little while ago and I've made my way through the
first season, so I still have most of the second and whatever has aired of the third! Plus I'll probably rewatch some of my other shows that I've already seen.
1Sugar, can you tell me why we are going to wait 4 months for Glee? I thought NBC has the Winter Olympics? This is the most disappointing news this year to the next.
Please watch Curb your Ethusiasm! The finale is one of the best of the series. I also love Cougartown (even more than Modern Family! That will be the show I will be catching up)

3Well shows I will be catching up on are Despertate Housewives and probably House since I dont have that much time anymore since university started.
Glee is most likely off for 4 months because of American Idol. It's annoying that the stupid show takes their time spots.

It might work the first time (the preview episode after American Idol), but I'm not sure if fans can take this kind of manipulation this time.
So Glee is going to be on hiatus while Fox airs a new show called "Our Little Genius" on Wednesdays after American Idol. I'm super bummed about it, but the good news is that there will be more Glee after the break, when originally the show didn't have a midseason pickup! Hopefully all the fans will be back to tune in.

7I will be catching up on The Good Wife and White Collar, a new show on USA. I miss Glee but I will be back for more in April!

9Modern Family, Mad Men, Bones, The Mentalist. I've just been watching too much tv (it's a super long list lol) and have had to cut back on some shows even though I really like these, and I'm going to give Modern Family a shot because I've heard it's funny.
