Lee Daniels' The Butler has proven to be a surprise hit, winning the box office again with $17 million in its second week of release. It beat out second-place ranker We're the Millers, which made $13.5 million. New release The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones came in third place and made just $9.3 million, while The World's End followed with $8.9 million, also in its first weekend of release. Planes rounded out the top five with $8.6 million. In its first week in theaters, horror film You're Next only made $7 million.
