Bryan Cranston is taking home the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Breaking Bad for the second consecutive year. He beat out Simon Baker, Michael C. Hall, Hugh Laurie, Gabriel Byrne, and Jon Hamm.
As much as I wanted to see Jon Hamm grace the podium, Cranston is definitely deserving of the statue. What do you think of this win? Vote on all my Emmy Awards polls here!

To be fair, I don't watch Breaking Bad. But c'mon. Michael C Hall as Dexter? It doesn't get any better.
1I am absolutely thrilled!
Cranston is amazing in his deep and complex role. Breaking Bad is my favorite show on television.
2Michael C. Hall or Hugh Laurie SO should've won this one.
3I don't watch Breaking Bad either, but I really wish Hugh Laurie had won. House is just so amazing.
4Should have been Hugh Laurie.
5I do think Michael C Hall was equally deserving...
Thanks for the updates Buzz. Its allowing me to follow the Emmys and Sunday Night Football
6I'm sorry, I love House and Mad Men, but have any of the detractors here even seen his show?. Cranston is a revelation.
7I agree with Sarah - please judge this award once you've witnessed the awesomeness that is Breaking Bad and the acting on that show. Well deserved second win for Cranston!
8I understand the Hugh Laurie love, I don't know why he hasn't won an Emmy yet either, but he was up against some v. strong competition.
It should be Hugh Laurie
9That made me so happy , he is amazing in BB , he deserve it
10Wow so happy he won. Last season of Breaking Bad was just so good
11Totally should've been Hugh Laurie.
12I don't watch this show, but from the clips I've seen, he looks really good. Actually, all the nominees are really talented.
13I love Hugh Laurie and kind of wanted him to win, but I think Cranston is completely deserving. He really makes Breaking Bad a watchable, compelling show.
14I would really like Hugh to win already, or at least M.C.Hall, but I just started watching Braking Bad couple of days ago and I have to admit Bryan Cranston is very good in it.
15Oh, and sarah and others, I completely agree. I feel like a lot of people who think Laurie, Hall, etc. were more deserving haven't seen Breaking Bad.
16I haven't seen Breaking Bad, it just doesn't appeal to me. But I would choose Kyle Chandler from FNL over Hugh Laurie and others anyday.
17Even though I don't regularly watch Breaking Bad, I can attest that he's fabulous on it. However, I think Michael C. Hall is unreal as Dexter
18He is absolutely amazing in Breaking Bad. In two seasons, he went from me sympathizing and cheering for him to being absolutely disturbed and frightened of him. And it's not just the writing. The penultimate episode of season 2....I seriously sat there saying 'he's not going to let that happen; OMG, he is (repeat x 30).' And then by the end of the episode, i was simply stunned. Not only by the plot, but by Bryan Cranston. He and Aaron Paul rule.
19should've been hugh laurie, do u see house? OMG! i got shivers!
20Has Hugh won one yet for House??? He needs to be recognized at the Emmy's for his role! Last night's episode was fantastic!
