This is also made into a British TV show starring Eddie Redmayne and Clemence Poesy. Brilliantly made.

Divergent was awful, it was just another dopey eyed school girl love story, which I'm sure is good if you are 15. I saw it on a list for "if you like the hunger games you will like this" and I wouldn't compare it to the hunger games. I had hopes for it but I will not be reading the other two.
