Disney and Marvel's Big Hero 6 Looks Charming, Of Course

Welcome to Fransokyo! It's sometime in the future, and a man in a kabuki mask is controlling a bunch of microbots for evil purposes. Meanwhile, a kid with spiky hair is trying to stop Kabuki Guy with the help of his sidekick, a tubby Michelin Man-looking macrobot. This is the premise for Big Hero 6, Disney and Marvel's new animation, due in theaters on Nov. 7. Even if you didn't quite follow that synopsis, you might still want to check out the trailer. It's pretty darn cute, and there's a really fat animated cat involved, which the macrobot affectionately refers to as a "hairy baby." It's got a lot to live up to, given that Disney's last offering, Frozen, became, well, the most popular movie in the world, but with voices from Jamie Chung, T.J. Miller, Maya Rudolph, James Cromwell, and Damon Wayans Jr., I'm already on board. Take a look!
