Beyoncé Raps About the Elevator Fight in Her New Remix

Aug 4 2014 - 3:05am

Beyoncé has once again reminded us that she's full of surprises. Late Saturday, the singer released a remix of her song "Flawless" without warning and, in the process, let us know how she really feels about that infamous elevator brawl [1] between her sister Solange Knowles and husband Jay Z. "We escalate, up in this b*tch like elevators. Of course, sometimes sh*t go down when there's a billion dollars on an elevator," she raps in the first verse. Bey also shows her appreciation for Solange and Jay in the song, rapping, "My sister told me I should speak my mind. My man made me feel so . . . fine." Although Beyoncé has already responded to the headline-grabbing scandal — she made her love for Solange [2] clear on Instagram and released a joint statement [3] with Jay in May — the song marks the first time Bey has clued us in on her sense of humor about the situation. Still, she has yet to explain why it happened [4]. Listen to the remix, which also features Nicki Minaj, below.
