Worst Way to Start a Season: American Idol

I couldn't wait for the return of American Idol (and Ellen's judge debut!) but the first week of performances was far from memorable. Pretty much all of the top 24 contestants played it safe (or worse) in Week 1, so here's hoping March brings out the star power.
