Kristen Wiig to Highlight Some of SNL's Best Holiday Skits
Over 35 seasons, Saturday Night Live has had plenty of opportunities to brighten up the holiday season with a few laughs. This year, NBC is stringing together some of the classics (as well as introducing new material) for a 2-hour special, hosted by Kristen Wiig as Gilly.
On December 17 A Very Gilly Christmas will take over NBC's comedy block, with special guests Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin to help introduce their own classic holiday sketches (love that Baldwin's "Schweddy Balls" made the cut!). Gilly may not be my favorite SNL character, but I'm excited to watch iconic moments of SNL holiday seasons past. In fact, it inspired me to compile some of my own favorites (and yes, "D*ck in a Box is one of them).
