Each TV season brings us a new batch of characters to get to know, and — if we're lucky — love. New faces like Tyrion on Game of Thrones and New Girl's Jess made an impression on us in no time, which is part of the reason we keep tuning in to their shows. Of course, it's not just freshman series that get the fresh meat; old favorites like The Office and The Vampire Diaries also introduced new characters this year.
