Best Movies of Summer 2012

The Summer is almost over, and likewise, most of the season's big releases have already opened and swept the box office. I think it's been a great Summer in terms of quality movies; not only were a few of the blockbusters great, entertaining films (namely The Dark Knight Rises and The Amazing Spider-Man), there were also a lot of smaller films that have stayed with me, like Celeste and Jesse Forever and Moonrise Kingdom. I'd like to hear about what you guys enjoyed the most, too. Was it something you'd been waiting for and didn't disappoint, or were you pleasantly surprised by a certain movie?
