The Blues Brothers

John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd star as Jake and Elwood Blues, brothers who reunite their band The Blues Brothers for a benefit show to save their childhood orphanage. The 1980 film (based on an SNL skit) is full of spirited tunes as the boys break out the harmonica and slide around stage, but they're not just a fictitious group — The Blues Brothers were the real deal. Even after Belushi's death, the group continues to rotate members for performances around the country.

Almost Famous forever and ever. It's just my all-time favorite movie in the world :)

Those are all great movies. Another one I can recommend is Velvet Goldmine. It has Christian Bale, Ewan McGregor, Toni Collette and Jonathan Rhys Meyers in it. It's about the rise and fall of a glam rock star, loosely based on David Bowie's life, from what I hear. The music is fantastic, and so is the story.

OH, I love Almost Famous. I was so surprised at how good a movie it is when I first saw it. Definitely one of my favorites of all-time. That was pretty much the last time Kate Hudson really acted (and nailed it).
