Hi, I'm Becky Kirsch and on Watch, Pass, or Rent. We've got The Avengers. Robert Downey, Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo are just a few of the many celebs who star in this film about a group of superheroes and fans together for the first time. If we can't protect the Earth, we damn sure will avenge it. Fans have been waiting for a long time to see this movie, and I don't think they'll be disappointed. The Avengers delivers a healthy dose of laughs along with a ton of excitement. It's so fun to watch these superheroes that we've gotten to know separately comes together for the first time. We've got some old favorites like Iron Man, Captain America and Thor, plus some new faces lie Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk. It just endlessly entertaining to watch them all banter with each other Big man in a suit of armor, take that away what are you? A genius billionaire playboy philanthropist. So it goes without saying if there a lot of sexy superheroes in skin-tight suits sure, but there are a lot of amazing visual effects as well. I was particularly impressed with how they handled the transformation of Bruce Banner into The Hulk. There is so much build up up to that moment and I was really satisfied with the way it delivered. There were a lot of characters and a lot of action scenes to pack in here, but luckily we've got Joss Whedon at the helm. He delivers a script that's really smart keeps the story going, and you're always engaged the entire time. The Avengers is just as much fun as I was hoping it would be. The ensemble cast is great and I particularly love Tom Hiddleston as the villain. Though it is a bit long, this is a great film to kick off summer blockbuster season, so I'm definitely giving it a 'watch'.
