"Idol" said farewell to:

• Leslie Hunt





• Alaina Alexander





• AJ Tabaldo





• Nick Pedro

No big shockers, though I thought Alaina, AJ, and Nick deserved the boot last week more than this week. Alaina was such a mess, she couldn't even make it through her sing-off. Sanjaya, meanwhile, looked absolutely floored when he found out he was safe. Who's voting for him, exactly?

How did you do? Here's the ballot for the girls, and here's the one for the guys. The only good news for me this week is that nobody from my top 12 got kicked off.

Some other observations:

• Apparently "Feeling Good" is the kiss of death for "Idol" contestants. Both singers who tried it this week are gone.
• Wow, Jordin looks different with her hair straighter. I almost didn't recognize her.
• Kellie Pickler, honey, stop tanning and wear looser clothing, please. For everyone's sake. And stop playing dumb; we know it's an act.
• Lots of criers this year, huh? Jordin, Gina, Sundance ... do you think they're authentically sad or just faking for the cameras?
