Amanda Seyfried's youthful good looks aren't just an asset in romantic films — they'll now come in handy for her new starring role in I'm.mortal. In the futuristic flick, everyone stops aging in their mid-20s (if only) and you have to earn more time to stay alive, or perish. Seyfried will play the hostage of a guy who has been accused of murdering a man for his time.

The premise seems a bit muddled, but the movie is written and directed by Andrew Niccol, who was behind Gattaca — an above-average sci-fi film — so it's possible that I'm.mortal could end up in a similar league.

i'm loving all the hype around her right now! good to see her trying out different types of movies. this sounds weird, but i'll prob catch it on netflix.

It actually sounds kind of interesting - I read a series of books that have a similar premise. I loved Gattaca, too; I think this will probably end up being pretty good...
