Are you kidding, of COURSE he deserved the win....he's my new fave actor to watch! After No Country I immediately Netflixed both "Mar Adentro" and "Before Night Falls" which were also wonderful performances by him. Who else can play a hired hitman/serial killer, a persecuted Cuban homosexual writer, AND a quadriplegic, doing each role perfect justice each time? Javier!
(Plus he's hot!)
