NBC has been running near-constant promos for "Grease: You're the One That I Want," the reality show where America votes on who will play Sandy and Danny in an upcoming Broadway production of "Grease." The first episode, a special 90-minute version, airs tonight (Sunday) at 8 p.m., with Olivia Newton-John as a guest star.
I still can't decide whether it's going to be so bad it's good — or just bad. It could be all kinds of campy fun, or it could be just another ripoff of "American Idol." Check out the trailer and tell me what you think. Will you watch "Grease"?

I'll tune in--until I switch over to watch Desperate Housewives. I'm with you, Buzz. Can't tell if it will be so good that it's good...or so bad that it's worth watching!
1This looks like it will either be super cheesy or absolutely hilarious. I have to watch The Apprentice tonight though.
2I think I may, finally, be getting a little reality TV-ed out. I kinda feel like just getting Grease from Netflix and watching it instead.
But the other part of me is saying, OMG this looks likes the lamest/awesomest show EVAR. It will probably just depend on if I'm home that night.
3This is an unforgivably dopey attempt to catch an audience. It would be my greatest hope that the show is unexpectedly hilarious (like unto the bad AI auditions), but I have a dark feeling about it.
I fear it will be lame -- not late-night, hanging with your buddies, just messin' around and acting like fools lame, but mind-numbingly, all-out boring lame.
4Well, I justed watched the show. Can't decide what I think. This episode was all auditions, so I am getting the wannabe American Idle vibe. I might tune in next week and check back in! What did you all think?
5It will either be really lame or really good. But Ive got other things to do. Like DH.
6My vote is for really bad and totally lame. I will be willing to admit I am wrong.
7Like Juicy23, I can't decide what I think after having seen the first episode. I'll probably tune in next week just to see where the show goes after the auditions. What were some of those who auditioned thinking?!
8i watched ot andf really liked it! lol i found it entertining...i guess partly beacuse i love musical theater and will be going to school for it...i think it will only get better once the auditions are done
9I watched it and I agree with Malzie I think it'll get better. They FLEW through the auditions though.
10I thought it was definitely an American Idol rip-off, and I was not as much a fan of the (if possible) even more obvious attempts to stir up drama and excitement. I was not as much a fan of the editing, either, which confused me as to whether someone was a good dancer, singer, etc. Frankly, I pity the poor actors who will be performing with the winners of this show on Broadway. Yeeeeesh.
