It's a good day for Steve Carell fans. An international trailer has appeared online for Get Smart, in which he plays the legendary bumbling Agent 86 (Maxwell Smart). The headquarters of US spy agency Control are attacked, and the identities of its agents compromised, just as evil crime syndicate KAOS plots world domination. Thus, Control Chief (Alan Arkin) is forced to promote his eager analyst Smart, pairing him with veteran Agent 99 (Anne Hathaway). They then stumble their way through attempts to thwart KAOS's destructive plans.
The trailer features plenty of Steve Carell-y jokes and slapstick humor. I totally can't wait to see Get Smart when it opens June 20. To watch the trailer and have a few chuckles, read more.

Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway are two of my most favorite actors! Especially Steve, he makes me laugh like no one else can.

7I knew they were making the movie, didn't know they were done already! I wasn't too sure about Anne as agent 99...I was a HUGE fan back when I was a kid. I used to watch the show on Nick at Night. I can't see the trailer on this computer but I can't wait to learn more! I do love Steve Carell and I can get behind Anne as agent 99.

11my dad loved all the old Get Smart episodes... he even used to quote from them. We're already planning to meet up for a matinee.
12i watched Get Smart on Nick at Nite too until the network moved it past my bedtime; i was so upset when it had been removed from the schedule before my bedtime was pushed back! i only found out recently it was associated with mel brooks - i never knew my taste was so good at 4 and 5 years old!

14I loved Get Smart as a kid. But not as much as a friend of mine- her mom threw her a "Get Smart" birthday party, complete with treasure hunt.
I dressed as 99 in a trenchcoat and heels.
I'm actually happy that they cast Hathaway- she's got great comedic timing, and is luminous. I think it'll be a fun flick.

17I don't think he's a Don Adams, but Anne gives good 99 with her voice! I don't know if she'll do the weary looks as well as Barbara Feldon but she is cute.
