She's cheertastic?
For a third time, Hayden Panettiere will be putting on the little outfit and cheering her heart out, this time for a film adaptation of the novel I Love You, Beth Cooper by Larry Doyle. Doyle is a former writer for The Simpsons and now works for The New Yorker. Chris Columbus (Adventures in Babysitting, Mrs. Doubtfire, two Harry Potter movies) is on board to direct.
Besides cheering, what else will she, um, do?
Apparently, "Panettiere would play Beth, the school's hottest cheerleader who shows nerdy valedictorian Denis Cooverman the best night of his life after he proclaims his love for her during his graduation speech."
Typecast much?
Hayden currently plays Claire the regenerating cheerleader on NBC's Heroes, and she previously starred in the third Bring It On movie, Bring It On: All or Nothing, so we're used to seeing her in the cheerleading getups. I wonder if she just likes the outfits? Now I want to know who will play Denis Cooverman. As long as it's not that kid who played West from Heroes, I'm happy.

It needs to be the kid that played McLovin in Superbad. that's who should play Denis Cooverman. He would be perfect. He's sooo nerdy that he's cute.
1Because these are the only roles for someone so short and blonde!
And dont forget Ice Princess, also an excellent role for a short blonde in a skirt!

4i know that she's young and wants to make sure that she's working - but she's going to fall into the trap where people only see one side of her (if there are more) and directors won't be looking at her for other roles.
then again, she's only 18 - so let her be a cheerleader i guess

8her hair is overbleach..... Heroes generally hides how dry it is pretty well, but look at both of those pictures. It is also apparent in all her old movies before she was well known.... lay of the bleach!
9I think she should start taking up more diverse roles so she doesn't get type cast, and yeah that kid who played MClovin should Denis
10Hayden just irritates me. All she is is the token blonde, the cheerleader in her roles. There's nothing more to her. Just another example of a young actress who does NOT deserve all the attention she is getting.
