Kevin Federline guest-starred on his first of three One Tree Hill episodes on Tuesday night, marking his first acting appearance since a 2006 episode of CSI — well, and last year's Super Bowl ad. He's playing an up-and-coming musician, which is maybe not such a stretch for ol' K-Fed. But hey, given all the current Britney drama, I've got to give him credit for working. Check out this video and let me know: Can you handle him as an actor?

nope - not a chance. i can't take him seriously as anything professional. may be a mean thing to say - but he's been very lucky about the women that he chooses to be with...and now he's riding the coat-tails
I totally agree with ilanac!
I could take him more seriously as an actor than I could Britney...
No! The only reason he got this part on OTH is because of his celebrity factor, not his talent. Heck, they cast that loser from Laguna Beach last season.
I was NOT impressed at all by his appearance on last night's episode. I LOVED his superbowl ad but last night was terrible. I guess I'll have to see how the next two appearances on the show are before judging.
All I could think of were the complaints about him smoking pot at the set and pissing off everyone.
he was SOOOO terrible on OTH.
Sure why not! he was funny in the superbowl add, it showed he has a sense of humor, thought he did a good job on CSI and thought he did a good job on OTH, listen give the guy a break, at least he's out there trying to get a career going, he's taking care of his kids you don't see him whoring his kids out for publicity and money like that Larry Birkhead(even Brit did!)or acting all bat sh*t like Britney, good for Kevin I wish him all the luck in the world!
NO WAY - totally not how a character like that would act on stage, it kinda looks like his superbowl ad but in "rock" clothing...
and apparently that isn't his voice (according to radio talk show), its voice over...
look, yes he is trying to work, but shouldn't he be doing something he is GOOD at? wasn't he a back-up dancer... GO DANCE. His name is big enough now that he should be able to get a bunch of gigs, and big ones too. And if he wants to be in movies that badly then go DANCE in them, as Cameos... he just doesnt have the talent to have... well speaking parts. Its more embarrassing for him to be trying to what he isn't meant to do- I would have a lot more respect for him if he showed of his real talents which is where he started out.
Is that really him singing? Yeesh. That song was less than good - it was distracting! He just doesn't have "it".
The girls do a great job pretending to be interested in Kevin.
I'd have to see more before knowing for sure. I can't really tell anything from the clip because he wasn't talking or anything. But his relationship with Britney is not something that would keep me from taking him seriously as an actor. If he has the talent, that is.
I agree i would have to see him doing a scene actually speaking. I don't normally watch this show but i wanted to check it out and i forgot.
It's hard to take him seriously as a person, so no.
Not in a million years!
i don't know about his appearance on OTH, but I actually was surprised that wasn't completely horrible on CSI.
Maybe but not likely although he is less of a joke now because of Britney's actions. Britney is a joke now she obviously does not give a crap about her career anymore.
I couldn't help but giggle anytime he was onscreen...
I had no idea he was going to be on the show and I laughed out loud when I saw him and the "band" then laughed every time after when he recited his lines. Sooo bad.
I just watched this episode last night, and although his role didn't have him on-screen a ton, he was believable as his character. I think there's potential there. He's not a 'bad' actor - he'll never win an Oscar, but geez, we can't just tar him with the same lack-of-talent crazy brush that we paint Britney with!
No way could I take him seriously as anything after his rap "career", freeloading off britney, and all the drama and wh*remongering. Sadly, had he done the rock thing like in the clip BEFORE the rap and brit sh*t, he may have had something. probably not anything huge but enough to maintain a fanbase.
I wouldn't cast Kevin as a lead in anything, but he's not terrible in bit/supporting roles. In fact, I was a tad surprised with his role on OTH; it was fairly decent and he can pull off the rocker look much better than he can the white-boy rapper look (which makes him more of a joke than the guy from The Offspring's "Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)" video)...
