Some of this year's Golden Globe wins were to be expected, but there were some things that I totally didn't predict. What did you find most surprising about the Globes this year?

I was definitely expecting Ellen Page to win, so Marion Cotillard was a surprise.

3I thought/was hoping that No Country for Old Men would take top honors; Atonement was great, but not my first choice. After seeing Marion Cotillard's performance this past weekend, I'm not surprised that she won; the film is overly long, but her acting is top-notch. Jon Hamm and Michael C. Hall and Hugh Laurie all deserved to win; that was a tough category, but I'm happy for Hamm and for Mad Men, one of the best shows on tv.

7I disagree with most of the wins with the exception of Tina Fey and Julie Christie. They both deserved their awards 100%
8I am absolutely Thrilled that Marion Cotillard won for best actress. She was positively brilliant in La Vie En Rose. She completely transformed into Edith Piaf-and at every stage in her life as well, not just one period. I hope she wins the Oscar. She deserves it.
9Either David Duchovny or Antonement for Best Picture. Both didn't deserve to win, IMO.
10Not that Sweeny Todd was bad by any means (it was actually very good), but I thought Juno deserved it more.

12I seriously thought that the Kite Runner was going to win for best foreign film, nothing against the Diving Bell and the Butterfly. Maybe it was the controversy. Its also sad that I underestimated Jon Hamm and the show even though I am like one of the shows biggest fans.
13Didn't expect Sweeney to win but I am thrilled- so deserved!!!

I was sad that Pushing Daisies didn't win. I think that is one of the best new shows out there.

19I was really surprised that Mad Men won anything. I love the show, but it had some stiff competition. I was also pretty surprised at the Comedy/Musical and Drama winners. I thought Juno would win for sure, and Atonement's win really surprised me, too.
20I was so surprised that Marion won over Ellen, seemed so out of left field. I understand they couldn't really find a good fit for the movie in a category, so she ended up there. I doubt many people expected her to win.
