Not every year can be a great year for music, and 2006 was just okay. It didn't help that this year was sandwiched between 2005—which gave us great albums by Kanye West, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, and Sufjan Stevens—and 2007, which promises new releases from Wilco, Arcade Fire, and Timbaland.
Thankfully, I managed to scour enough of the year's music to bring you BuzzSugar's Top 20 Albums of 2006. I've been posting my reviews all week, but here at last is the list in its entirety. Don't forget to bookmark the albums you thought were Buzzworthy this year!

2What a weird list, I only know 4 of the 20 and I hate them too hahahaa. Justin Timberlake, Johny Cash, Bob Dylan and Yo la Tengo are the only ones I know.
If the rest were tops in 2006 then it still hasnt gotten to Spain, man! I hate living here, you dont get anything here.
3it is ok...i'm in USA and I've only heard of 3
4Where's MUSE - Black Holes and Revelations? That album is amazing. If you haven't heard it Buzz you should give it a listen.
5Nice to see Dylan at number 3.
6I haven't heard Muse but I like their other stuff so I will check it out!
7Totally agree with Jenny Lewis, Belle and Sebastian, Johnny Cash, The Pipettes and M. Ward (who I get to see live in February!). I so need to listen to more Cat Power. I can't seem to get into TV on the Radio, though I know they're the latest "big thing."
