Even though there won't be an awards show this Sunday, they will still be announcing the winners of the 2008 Golden Globes, and you can still root for your favorite people to win!
So which of the Best Dramatic Actor nominees do you most want to win?

Perhaps I'm blinded by my McAvoy love, but I think he was amazing in "Atonement". I really don't think the film would have worked with anyone else.
1Where is Casey Affleck for Gone, Baby Gone?
2em1282, I am with you. James McAvoy is my current obsession and he was the backbone of Atonement. I do agree with Liss too though, Casey Affleck was excellent in Gone Baby Gone. There were a lot of good performances this year.
3em1282, I too am blinded by my McAcoy love!
4I love McAcoy but I think Atonement is over hyped. It was beautifully filmed, very haunting in scenery/photography but to me there was very little character development. I seriously didn't care who lived, who died and seriously, where was the "Atonement"? Maybe "Guilt" or "I Was A Liar Oops" or "The Creepy Kid Is A Creepier Adult" or something like that would have been a better title.
5I am so into McAvoy right now!
6Liss — This poll is just asking which of the actors who are currently up for a Best Dramatic Actor Golden Globe award you would most like to see win. Casey Affleck was not nominated in this category, so he's not an option in the poll.
He was nominated in the Supporting Actor category for his role in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.
Here's a full list of the Golden Globe nominees.
7daniel day lewis was absolutely amazing. i still have chills. mcavoy surprised me but he did not have the chops that lewis has. his performance was one of the best i've ever seen.
8i like george - don't know if he's the best - but i'll root for him anyway
9I've only seen Michael Clayton...George was soooo great in it!
10Thanks Buzz!
11Viggo was brilliant... and gets my vote.
12There is no contest: if they are awarding the prize for honest to goodness BEST acting the winner will be Daniel Day Lewis. His performance was one of the best of this decade!
13For those who haven't seen it, I urge you to check out There Will be Blood. It was just amazingly done and has a haunting score. OK, I'll quit gushing now.
14Daniel Day Lewis tops my list; he is an amazing actor!
15I'm torn between Viggo and Daniel Day Lewis, but I think DDL will get it.
16James McAvoy! His performance in Atonement had me in tears. Beautiful.
17Viggo!!! Eastern Promises was amazing. I have a feeling he won't win though . . .
