I instead voted for who WILL likely win: Keira Knightley. I haven't seen Atonement yet, so I won't pre-judge. I think Julie Christie did an amazing job though.

Julie Christie should win; Keira Knightly probably will win. Away from Her is just an amazing film.

i couldn't stand "the brave one" and i'm not quite sure why jodie foster was even nominated... but whatever. i'd be okay with any of the other ones winning, honestly.

Julie Christie has been winning a ton of awards for Away From Her. She certainly has the Oscar buzz in her corner.

I loved Atonement but I don't understand all the awards buzz Keira Knightley is getting. I thought she was good in the part but not nearly as good as Romola Garai. Aside from that I want Cate Blanchett to win

I LOVE Cate Blachette, but I think Julie Christie will win. She has pretty much swept critic/festival awards so far. It would really shock me if Keira won.

Regardless of whether the ceremony takes place on Sunday, there will most likely still be a press conference in which the winners will be announced.
The winners of the Globes will still receive their awards, we just probably won't see a ceremony.

I can't imagine that anyone who has seen Kiera in Atonement AND Angelina in A Mighty Heart would still vote for Kiera. There is absolutely no comparrison in the performaces and almost an insult that Kiera was nominated in the same category!

Keira was amazing in Atonement, even thiough I'm a huge Jolie fan, I choose Keira. I love het more and more everytime she comes up with a movie.

The main thing I liked about atonement was the music. Keira was okay. I voted for Angie in a MIghty Heart. Man there were scenes in that movie that were just amazing. I'm not a crier, but when she finds out about danny and then tries to reason that it's not him, I cried. Heart Renching. Poor Marianne.
Anyway I never saw Away from Her, I'll have the check that out! I won't watch the brave one, I can't STAND jodie foster, she just annoys me SO much
