Every Wednesday on BuzzSugar, we'll be posting a Recast challenge, where we'll ask you to recast a classic TV show or movie for these modern times. Last week, I asked you guys to recast Casablanca, and there were so many great entries it was hard to chose a winner.
However, the award for best Recast goes to Demily, who not only found a great trio to play Rick, Isla, and Capt. Renault but also gave us another version that modern-day Hollywood would be more likely to cast: Heath Ledger as Rick, Kate Bosworth as Isla, and — wait for it — Queen Latifah as Capt. Renault. That had me laughing for days. But here are Demily's actual picks, complete with a new cast photo.
