How do you keep a Christmas classic like Frosty the Snowman fresh after four decades? Well, if you're CBS, you create a jokey promotional video painting the good-natured snowman as a crotchety old man sick of children, global warming, and villains who wish for his untimely demise. This Frosty isn't into singing cute songs in the town square; instead, he's "mad as hell, and he's not gonna take it anymore."
"The Frostinator" is a pretty funny little promo for the special, which airs tonight at 8 EST and PST followed by Frosty Returns. My favorite part: the roly-poly Frosty growling "Not this time, human scum!" I only wish CBS had gone a little further; I would have loved to see him say "It's Frosty, b*tch!" Alas, that would probably be messing with a classic a bit too much. To watch the clip, just read more.

I used to own the Frosty the Snowman special on VHS. I love when the kids try to name him and one kid's suggestion is "Oatmeal!"
1Love "this promo's a real parody."
2I love Frosty too, and I still have the VHS & DVD. But they should never remake or make fun of these in a tacky way. We don't have that much quality stuff for the children to watch now a days anyway.
As for the promo, I haven't seen it yet, but I would love too.
