Finally! The Dark Knight trailer currently being shown before I Am Legend in theaters is online in a version that's not a shaky bootleg taken with someone's camera phone!
However, so far the only versions of the 6-minute clip from the Dark Knight, also shown before I Am Legend, are those jerky, low-quality bootlegs, like this one. Stay tuned for a better quality version, sure to hit the Internet before too long.

1so glad they've revitalized the Batman franchise with Bale... and made it appropriately darker. I didn't think Heath Ledger would be a good Joker, but now I'm convinced.
2oh and can someone remind me who is morgan freeman's character in the film. i know that michael caine is supposed to be albert, bruce wayne's butler, but i can't figured out morgan's character.
also heath's joker is f*ckin' scary. f*ckin'. scary. that secene where he stucks his head in the window of the police car; terrifyingly brilliant.
and maggie looks lovely in the few seconds we see her in.

4pinkflats, Morgan Freeman plays the guy that worked at the science department at Wayne Enterprises in Batman Begins and that Bruce Wayne later made head of the company. I can't remember his name right now though...
5Christian Bale is such a great Batman, I love him so much. And I'm so glad they replaced Katie Holmes with Maggie Gyllenhaal - she's like, the thinking man/woman's romantic interest.
6Oh my gosh, I am so excited for this movie. Heath Ledger is f*cking scary as the Joker. This cast is so awesome, there's also Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, and Maggie Gyllenhaal (I am so happy that they replaced Katie Holmes by the way).
7I saw this preview in the theater before I am Legend and it looks phenomenal! I will be back in the theater Summer '08 to watch this new Batman!

16I am really excited for this movie. I generally don't care about these kinds of films but I've always had a Batman thing. I watch the cartoon Batman shows from the late 90s and 2005 on some of the all cartoon channels. I was not happy by the casting of Heath, but he kicks ass in this preview. I got excited when they started all their viral internet marketing stuff over the summer with the riddles and such. They're doing a good job of creating buzz and I am really pleased with the trailer.

Wow... I really never though Heath Ledger would make such a convinsing and terrifying Joker. As for Maggie G this is not a movie that suits her. She will break the flow and shurely ruin the whole thing. They should have forgotten of the love interest in this one.
