If you're looking for some good over-the-top holiday TV, I highly recommend tonight's special holiday episode of "The O.C.," titled "Chrismukk-huh?" I was lucky enough to screen an advanced copy of this episode, and it's truly entertaining. I don't want to reveal too much, but I will say that the premise will be somewhat familiar to fans of It's a Wonderful Life and that somehow, "The O.C." manages to pull this off with minimal hokiness.

Even though I haven't been loving "The O.C." lately, this year's Chrismukkah special gives me hope that the show is returning to its early brilliance. If you agree, check out this petition to save "The O.C." on the Fox web site, where fans can pledge their allegiance:
"I promise to cancel dinner dates, skip night school classes, trade shifts with a co-worker, walk the dog after dinner and do whatever else is necessary to ensure that I am on my couch each and every Thursday night at 9 p.m. Or 8 central."

I watched last night, for the second week this season, and I must say - I think I'm going to start watching again! I'm going to have to catch up on what's been happening this season and last season since I stopped watching though. A lot has changed!
1The new series hasn't started yet in the UK, but I sort of want to see it, just to in case it's better.
2The Chrismukkah episodes are always the best ones for me.
I thought it was a pretty entertaining episode, but minimum hokiness?? I think not!
3I was so confused when I turned it on because I missed the first 20 minutes and I was like WTF is going on??? Why aren't Kirsten and Sandy together!!!!??? Then I realized it was "alt-world"
4Last nights episode was very entertaining, I'm kinda glad that I never gave up on the show because I like this season so far.
5This is the first episode I have watched this season. I really liked it . Taylor is hilarious. I think I am gonna start watching it again.
