As much as I enjoyed last week's episode of Gossip Girl, I had to agree with Molly that the preview for tonight's episode looked even better. Chuck is back (yay!) and so is the Chuck-Blair-Nate love triangle, as Nate vies to be Blair's date to the upcoming debutante ball — despite her secret, not-so-chaste dalliances with Chuck.
Serena, meanwhile, hears some harsh words from her grandmother about her choice of escort to the ball; seems Dan-from-Brooklyn isn't suitable enough for a Van Der Woodsen. Jenny, naturally, sees the event as yet another chance to get a toehold among the upper crust; I'll be curious to see how she talks her way into this one.
