Okay, last Amy Adams-centric post of the day — promise! This trailer for Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day is just too darn cute and Adams is so delightful in it I simply had to share. The movie also features one of my favorite movie ladies ever, Frances McDormand, as a frumpy nanny who gets a kind of life makeover when she falls in with the lively, free-spirited and girlish Delysia Lafosse (Adams).
It all takes place in 1939, a time period for which both McDormand and Adams seem to have the appropriate look. Miss Pettigrew is scheduled to start living at a theater near you March 7, so to check out the preview, read more

That looks so cute! And is that Ned from Pushing Daisies I see? Count me in for this one.
1This looks lovely! I love period pieces. And I love girls-helping-girls movies.
2This looks great. Love Frances McDormand!
3Looks like a good movie to me
4Love that the Pushing Daisies guy is in it, hes so cute
Looks really great to me!!
5OK, am I the only one who's finding it difficult to get past the name Pettigrew? It's been a while, but isn't Peter Pettigrew (or maybe Petigrew) the guy who turned Harry Potter's parents over to Lord Voldemort?
But I do adore Amy Adams and Frances McDormond (amazing in Fargo), as well as movies set in this time period - the fashions are so wonderful! (And the hair and makeup as well!)
6hahaha I thought of Peter Pettigrew too when I first saw the title
7LOVE both these women! It looks like a really fun movie
8Don't like the title, but the preview looks great. Definitely have a girlie-crush on Amy! And with Lee and Ciaran in it, this is a must see for me!
