Looking at this list of the best indie music videos of 2007 made me wonder: Do you actually watch music videos anymore?
I still love a good video, but I can't remember the last time I saw one on TV; mostly I just find them online. How about you?

the great thing about being at college, the opportunity of having MTVU which plays the best music videos.
1I could watch that channel all day long.
Yes - but not on MTV or VH1 - I watch on Fuse, and the local music channel.
VH1 Classic is good for old school videos too. They have been playing old pop up videos - That's fun.
2I know i was so excited when i saw Pop up video about a year ago on VH1 classic. They seriously need to bring that back, that and before they were rock stars.
3I love VH1 Classic!!
4What about CMT or GAC??? Country girl all the way!!!
5Do they even play music anymore? It's usually just reality shows when i turn those channels on.
6Not much anymore. I used to love videos but it's more difficult to find a music station that actually plays them and not their own stupid reality shows. If I do watch them, it's mostly on FUSE.
7Sometimes but not often...
8I love the reality shows on VH1, but for videos I watch Fuse. I hardly ever watch MTV anymore.
9I actually saw a music video on MTV regular the other morning. I was shocked.
10I use to watch videos all the time but they are all the same with the t&a all in my face. Its boring after awhile. I'll watch occasionally but I am not really that interested.
11I love music videos but MTV sucks... no videos anymore. I watch them online
12MTV does have videos on. However, they are on earrrrly in the morning, and very very late at night. I'm up early, and VH1 and MTV have videos on then. That's before 6. Only for a little bit though.
And CMT shows videos more than those two channel combined, but, they are slowly going towards all the reality TV BS.
13Fuse is slowing going in the same direction as MTV and Vh1.
14They have so many shows they play now, and eventually we have to wake up at 6 to watch videos on the fuse.
I remember when all they did was play cool music videos and trashed MTV for never playing music videos, but for some reason i believe viacom brought FUSE. I could be wrong but that could be the reason for them constantly playing reality shows.
Sometimes online, but I'm not genuinely interested.
15MTV doesnt have the right to call themselves "Music Televison" anymore. They lost touch with that a long time ago....its sad. I miss watching one video right after another...isnt that what music television is about? Not crappy shows and stupid reality TV. It just makes me so mad.
I WANT MY MTV!!!!
16Well my partner is a music video director and I am a choreographer, so just let's say that music videos are a huge part of my life
17I would watch it on TV if MTV played music videos.
18I watch videos all the time, on VH1 Soul, VH1 Classic and MTV Jams.
19I TIVO Fuse countdowns and VH1 Top 20 Countdowns.
20how can I when the so-called music channels don't play them?
and don't even get me started on trying to watch ANY type of video on my craptastic laptop. I still haven't been able to see last week's episode of ugly betty. *sob*
21i watch some that are postd on popsugar or perezhilton, but only at 30% of them. music videos are so 2004 for me
22when i was a youngin i was addited to them
23but it's been years since i've liked them
now CMT & GAC videos i do watch!
this is so sad what happened to MTV... Crap reality shows and no music videos.
I watch them online or buy dvds like directors label - Spike Jonze, Chris Cunningham, Michel Gondry, Mark Romanek, Jonathan Glazer, Anton Corbijn and Stephane Sednaoui rock!
24hmmmmm don't remember da last time i sat through a music vid
25I don't think MTV plays videos anymore. Yeah, there's TRL but they barely play then the whole way through and they are always marred by with screaming fans from Times Square. Still, with my nostalgic side coming out, I don't think videos are made the way they used to.
26I may be dating myself but I remember when MTV started...and it ain't what it used to be by any means. The only music videos I see are when I'm at the gym. But even that's not MTV. It's their in-house channel.
If anyone is interested in the whole history of MTV and what happened to it, Vanity Fair did a great in-depth article a couple of years ago. Sounds boring but was actually pretty interesting.
27Music videos are practically extinct. I miss the simplicity of 80's music videos. They were just fun to watch. Now everything is all about outdoing the last best video.
28Where can I still see music videos?
29Does MTV even play music videos anymore? I just watch them online.
30MuchMusic here in Canada plays videos all the time, but I don't really watch. I'll watch a video once if it's for a song I like.
31OK, I chose "no, I never watch them online or see them on TV," but maybe that wasn't quite fair.
First of all, I see but don't hear them on MTVU in the dining centers where I go to school. But I really just kind of notice that they're there; I don't really watch them (unless it's Rilo Kiley! They were playing "Silver Lining" for a while).
Secondly, I occasionally watch music videos online, but really only old music videos. And it's mostly to listen to the music. If there's a song I want to hear but I don't have it, I just search for the video on YouTube and pull it up. But again, I don't really end up watching it.
Remember TRL in it's heyday? I honestly don't know how that's still around at all. I remember that it came close to being canceled a few years ago.
32I remember a time when I would countdown the days to a new video release from one of my favorite artists, but now I don't even tend to watch the videos they put out.
I watch them online f it's an artist I'm interested in.
33Maybe if MTV actually played videos instead of dumb shows I could watch some.
