Compared to yesterday's Office-closing, 24-postponing day on the picket lines, today's reports from the Hollywood writers' strike were a bit less dramatic. But some major developments still emerged, so read on:
- ABC is planning to air the eight filmed episodes of Lost in February as previously planned — even if that means it cuts off after an awkward cliffhanger.
- This story rounds up how the strike affects cable networks. Among the big news: Dirt will have a shortened season. Also, maybe this is how HBO figured we'd have time to watch In Treatment.
- Friday shows, including Friday Night Lights, might start airing on other nights since Fridays get low ratings anyway.
- Who wants to mediate the dispute now? Bill Clinton.
- Here's a roundup of the reality programming that could be coming our way soon, including an NBC show called Clash of the Choirs. I'm so not kidding.
- The cast of Grey's Anatomy" joined the picketing writers on Wednesday, prompting the chant "It's alright, it's OK, we've got all our friends from Grey's!"
Sandra Oh seemed particularly into it; to watch her picketing, just read more

This strike really sucks but is totally necessary. Writers deserve so much more credit and money than they get
1ha... the grey's gang joining the picket line reminds me when they had to cross the nurse's line! especially funny since christina could have cared less and sandra is all about it!
2Oh is awesome!!! I'm loving seeing all the actors joining the writers. Seriously, GIVE THEM WHAT THEY WANT!!! I'm not looking forward to reruns. and (perhaps it's just me.. but) I tend to lose interest in shows when they throw reruns at me.. not my favorites, like Grey's Anatomy and whatever, but some shows are going to lose viewers, and therefore money, and DUH... I want this over.
Who else can strike? So far it seems like it's the networks against the world.. haha
3Aww I love how passionate Sandra Oh is about this! I love her!!
It's gonna suck when this strike really starts affecting our fave shows...but it's oh so necessary. All for the greater good.
4hey...at least we get to catch up on shows we may be behind on! but seriously, the industry should be ashamed of themselves. there would be no shows without writers! and you can have the best actors on the planet, but if its a sucky script - nobody is going to watch the show.
5would they give them the money already so their lovely viewers can get the episodes they deserves.
6Selfish, money hungry corporates.
Haha I love Sandra Oh.
7Thanks for this Buzz! Sandra Oh is great!!

10i agree with Sandra oh, it's suck but, they have to strike!
