From the way Fox is celebrating Family Guy tonight, you'd almost never know the network was once responsible for canceling the show. Eight years after its premiere, the show has finally reached the 100-episode mark, and Fox is going all-out — first with a retrospective of the greatest moments in Family Guy history, then with a special episode called "Stewie Kills Lois."
The retrospective promises to showcase some of the best musical numbers, cutaway gags, and spoofs of Family Guy to date, but the main event is the 100th episode itself. In it, Lois and Peter set out for a cruise, leaving the rest of the family to fend for themselves. Stewie is not so thrilled at being left behind, and he decides to launch a diabolical plan to get back at Lois for ditching him.
I heard the cast read through this episode live back in July, and I'm really curious to see how much of the script made it through broadcast standards and into the final version. The episode was hilarious, but there were a few jokes that were off-color — even by Family Guy standards. Still, if not during the 100th episode, then when? If you're a fan of the show, this episode shouldn't be missed. Will you be watching?

Dun dun dun...
1Nice.
2I cannot wait to see this! I'll have to wait until it goes online though
3Hell no, I won't be watching...I loathe this show.
And yes, I'm probably the only person alive who does...I've gave it many chances but I just can't do it. Animated comedies annoy me.
My husband, on the other hand, is a die-hard fan of this show...he will definitely be watching. And I will be upstairs with my fashion magazines
4I hate to admit this, but I love this show. I think alot of the jokes are very clever and smart. Much more so than The Simpsons or other sitcoms.
5I already saw this episode when it was leaked online last week but i will definately watch it again!
6Definitely be watching! I'm with fleurfairy - some of the funniest lines on tv. Can't wait!
7family guy is soso to me i like it but then i can never be bothered going to watch it or i jus forget whiich is wat happens a lot with me
8I loved it! I saw them live too, but we got to see bits of the Star Wars episode...some good stuff didn't make it on...hahaha, had to say it. Can't wait to see part 2.
9I wish I could have seen this. Oh well it will be on Adult Swim soon enough...
10I freakin' love Family Guy, but sorry Fleurfairy, the jokes are so not smarter than the Simpsons. Many/most FamGuy jokes are basal and prurient for the sake of cheap vulgarity. Hilarious nonetheless.
11I love Family Guy! The best part, at least to me, is it's just random (Peter's fights with the chicken, anyone?) It's not afraid to make fun of itself either.
This episode was hilarious, and I can't wait until next week to see the conclusion.
12The Simpsons haven't been funny since season ten--the Family Guy episode was hilarious.
13Also, Seth MacFarlane has the sexiest voice ever. Yay baritones!
I love this show, the simpsons really arent funny anymore.
14Y'all are crazy. The Simpsons still provide relevant social commentary. The show is also not afraid of making fun of itself.
Peter's fights with the chicken are definitely an example of the randomness of the show, which makes it very entertaining.
15I thought this was a great episode. Love this show.
