I think she was popular on Dawson's Creek because she was cute. But in Batman Begins, she had this habit of tucking her mouth into the corner of her cheek...talking out of just one side of her mouth. It was really distracting, and she couldn't hold up to Christian Bale, an incredibly gifted actor.

I think she has a better chance at comedy, but we shall see!

i'm not really fond of actress becoming a one hot celeb in an instant because of her being a socialite, marrying someone famous, or being cheated on then being quite an underdog rather on what they accomplish as an actress.

Pieces of April is one of my favorite movies of all time, and she gives a fab performance. I still like her, creepy Tom Cruise or not. And you can't say she isn't beautiful.

"Pieces of April" was really good, so I guess there is hope for her. I would be interested in seeing her in a comedy, and she was okay in "Thank You For Smoking."

I liked her in Pieces of April, Wonderboys and Go. She was pretty decent in Thank You for Smoking and The Gift. She's not a leading lady, though. I'm not sure she should do comedy (Mad Money looks like ass with or without her). I don't know. She confuses me.

Let's face it: she's just not that good of an actress. She's been good in selected things: Pieces of April (her biggest departure, IMO) and GO but has failed to pick decent projects lately (thank you-Tom Cruise).

she's always annoyed the hell out of me! i don't like her whispy baby voice when she's trying to be dramatic or funny. its irritating.

The only time she ever done a decent performance was in Pieces of April. Like soemone mentioned before, she has a terrible habit of talking with one side of her mouth, her lips are always lopsided. I feel like she makes her characters out too sweet, she always ends up playing the type of girl who is just so naive and sweet you feel like kicking the TV, even when the character in itself may not have been meant to seem like that. She always over martyrizes her characters and she never seems comfortable with comedy.

This girl has it all and those that lash at her will only backfire bigtime. Since we jugde actresses craft with their lives then Dunst is a bad actress for advocating drug use, another bad actress Paltrow for saying Americans are not as cultured as Europeans or Katie's replacement Gyllenhaal for saying America deserves 9/11, she insults Katie other actresses and blockbuster films,she's a monster to fans and the paparazzis.
