Deborah Kerr, the classic film actress best known for romancing Burt Lancaster on a beach in From Here to Eternity, died last week at age 86. To pay tribute to Kerr, two different channels are showing some of her best-known films today.
First up is the Fox Movie Channel, which will air The King and I and The Innocents. They'll air at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. on the East Coast; elsewhere, check your local listings.
Then, Turner Classic Movies will present its own doubleheader of two Oscar-nominated Kerr roles, first that revolutionary turn in From Here to Eternity at 8 p.m. and then Separate Tables at 10:15 p.m. (Again, check your local listings.)
Don't have cable? Celebrate Kerr's life by renting the 1957 classic An Affair to Remember — complete with Cary Grant eye candy.

i heard that from here to eternity is a great film, i will have to catch that one. may ms. kerr rest in peace.
1I've seen a couple of her movies. She was a beautiful leading actress.
2She was the epitome of refined glamour. my ALL time favorite movie is AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER....she was so elegant and poised! You couldn't help but fall in love with her right along with CARY GRANT!!!! I've seen her other movies but that one is my favorite!!
3My mom's favorite movie is "An Affair to Remember"...I remember watching it as a kid and thinking how beautiful Deborah Kerr was. And what a sad movie!
4Haha, "An Affair To Remember" makes my dad cry like a little baby... such a good movie.
5An Affair to Remember is one of my favorite movies.
6My Favorite is THE KING AND I. I remember as a little girl, my dad would do his Yul Brenner impersonation and then sweep my mother in his arms to dance like in the movie.
7An Affair to Remember is one of my favorites.
8I love Deborah Kerr. I grew up watching her movies with my grandmother. My absolute favorite would be The King and I followed closely by An Affair to Remember. May she rest in peace.
9I absolutely love her. One of my grandmother's favorite movies (and now mine) is An Affair to Remember and my mom's favorite movie is The King and I, so I've grown up with her.
I saw her later in The Innocents, but I still need to see From Here to Eternity.
