These guys!
Yup, Adam Brody, a.k.a. little indie Seth Cohen of The O.C. is trying out for a role in the Justice League movie. He's up against a slew of other young actors, as well as rapper Common who, in my humble opinion, would make a gorgeous addition to the cast.
What are the roles that need to be filled?
Director George Miller is looking for people to play Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Flash, Aquaman, Green Lantern and the Martian Manhunter.
Who else is auditioning?
A good chunk of the Friday Night Lights cast (Minka Kelly, Adrianne Palicki, Scott Porter) is in the running, along with Joseph Cross (Running With Scissors), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Grindhouse), Michael Angarano (Sky High), Teresa Palmer (December Boys) and Max Thieriot (Jumper). The hopefuls are all on the young side because Miller is reportedly "looking for actors to grow into their roles over the course of several movies." So, which young actors do you think should play these superhero parts?

I LOVE Michael Angorano (sp?)...I think he would be great in several different roles! I can't wait to see who they cast as Wonder Woman!
1I really want Zooey Deschanel as Wonder Woman. She just looks the part to me.
2I didn't realize Aquaman was a real character, I thought Entourage made it up... haha. I don't really care who plays who because I don't like superhero flicks...

4Hey Buzz- I think you meant George Miller is directing. While Frank Miller would be cool, he doesn't have enough experience and he's a little busy doing The Spirit right now.
I think it's hysterical that they're doing all this casting and ignoring the individual franchise's actors. Brandon Routh is weeping somewhere.

6well when i first read the post title i was like, "who cares?" then i saw that pic of common, and i'm all like "sign me up." common WOULD make a very, VERY attractive addition to the cast.

8My old Roomie Auditioned for this a couple weeks ago! Personally, I think the movie would be better with more "unknowns". I heard Christian Bale might be Batman in this one!!

10If they go for unknowns, I can totally see Minka from FNL as Wonder Woman. She looks the part.

15Sooo excited! As long as they do it justice (har har har) I can't wait to see the movie! Although I'm a little iffy on this being the next Harry Potter or something. One movie might be enough... But Hollywood doesn' t care.
