The Price Is Right starts its 36th season today with a whole new look — and, of course, a whole new host. Drew Carey is now at the head of contestants' row following Bob Barker's retirement this spring, and I'm curious to see how he does with one of the most iconic jobs on TV.
Carey isn't the only thing new about this season of Price. To usher in the new era, the show has a new logo (which still looks refreshingly 1970s) and a colorful new backdrop. But all the other important things — like, say, Plinko — are still in place. Plus, this fall's contestants apparently get the shot at winning some of the most expensive cars ever given away on the show.

2I actually set my DVR to tape it. I am curious to see how he does and i want to see if it still looks like the show is taped in the 70's. I can never tell with that show if they are new or reruns.
