Happy Radiohead Day! If you're a fan of the UK band, then today — the day the band's In Rainbows officially became available for download — kind of feels like Christmas and your birthday all in one. Radiohead made news with its decision to let fans pay whatever they wanted for the album, so I'm wondering: How much did you (or will you) shell out? In the comments, be sure to tell me what you think of the album if you've already given it a listen!

I voted wrong. I paid 4 pounds, which is about $8. But I accidentally voted for $2 to $5.
1I didn't/ won't buy it.
2I paid 10-15? Why? Because they are one of my favorite bands, and I've gotten an album or two of theirs without paying so this was my way of showing some love and appreciation for their innovation.
I listened to it, or tried to at work and what I heard was very good!
3I'm planning to pay between 10-15 bucks because I respect what they're doing and think they deserve that much! Even though they are probably already rich...
4interesting concept....it would be funny to see what people would pay if Britney did that!! hahahaha
5I think this is a great idea because anyone who would just download the album for free on illegal websites will just buy it directly from Radiohead. I paid nothing for it, though.
6I got the box set. how could I not? I LOVE radiohead!! So far I'm liking the new record but I will need a few more listens before I form a solid opinion. Gotta say that Thom's voice sounds freaking fantastic. So beautiful. I'm liking "All I Need" and "Faust Arp" the best so far. Today does feel like Christmas and my birthday all in one! Yay radiohead!!
7Radiohead is a legitimate band. they are one of the most creative, original, and talented bands out there. They do not need a record label to put out there album. they are not concerned about making money they just want to put their music out there. So... britney spears would never do it, she is none of the above mentioned things. she is talentless and is just looking for attention.
8I don't plan on buying it.
9That's why I said it'd be FUNNY chdina....cuz no one would pay sh*t for it!
10Radiohead isn't one of my favorite bands but i've seen them live and they are incredible!
I think i'll get it at some point soon but not until i get Manu Chao's latest! I'll probably pay around $5 for the album. I just can't bring myself to getting it for free when i know that they've invested time, energy and money into the album. Gotta give something, right?
11chdinapoli, I couldn't agree more.
I'll likely get the boxed set too but started off with what's available today.
12Oh, shizz! I didn't realize it was out already. I'll probably pay what I would likely get it for on iTunes so $10-15.
13I'll probably pay around $10. I love this band and I want to support this venture of theirs.
14I paid 10 bucks....and even then i feel like i got a great deal!
15I don't listen to Radiohead.
16I like the band but I did not pay anything for it!
17jennifer76, you don't get it at itunes, you get it at www.inrainbows.com, a site set up by the band. At least now, they say it's only available there. You can pay whatever you feel like paying for the downloads.
I got the box set. I know it was expensive, but this is by far the best band around and if you don't listen to them, you should. They're extremely creative, not afraid to try new things, but know how to work their way around many different instruments. I won't say they always hit, but no one has been perfect every song on every album.
I have a tattoo from the OK Computer album on my thigh, the picture of the outline of the man and woman holding hands. My husband has the same tattoo no his wrist, with the lyrics "when I am king you will be first against the wall..." wrapped around his forearm. He will get the rest on his other arm "with your opinion which is of no consequence at all" and then another pic - maybe the bear, maybe something else.
If you can't tell, we're a little Radiohead obsessed.
18my boyfriend bought it for $0
19I thought this was such a cool idea. Love Radiohead. But I haven't bought it yet.
20Thanks, remedios. I know that. I'm just saying that I'll probably pay the same thing I would if it were on iTunes, or the same thing I would for a comparable CD on iTunes. In other words, market value.
21I put in 0 as a joke Monday, because I honestly didn't believe it. Now I feel all bad.
22i just cannot decide what to pay! aah! aaah!! the pressure!
23I think this is a great idea--love Radiohead. I'll probably spend $15 or so...can't wait to give this a listen.
24Buy another one LaLa0428!
25I love radiohead! I have their entire collection already minus the new stuff so I probably won't be buying the complete box set. Anyway, I always pick free if given the option.
26Bought it for 6 pounds which translated to $13.45 on my cc.
More than the going rate for a cd download and considering there are are Very few costs to them for it, I thought that was fair.
I LOVE readiohead and I would hope that anyone who downloads it would pay for it. It seems like the right thing to do.
Listening to it right now!!
27I got it for free from utorrent, but I do plan to buy the box set. I was just impatient.
It's a great album! ♥
28I plan to pay $10. I tried to buy it last night, but the site wont let me on since I didn't preorder.
29Wow, those radiohead tattoos sound hardcore. I love that! I'm not a tattoo kind of gal but I always said that if I were to get one it would be radiohead related... like the bear or one of the little sketches like the thin ice sketch or the star in the circle or the spaceman. I can't wait for them to tour again!
30not my type of music!
31bought the box set. i love having stanley and thom's artwork. plus, i may even have to get my record player fixed so i can hear how great they are on vinyl! and hello, b-sides! i always found it a bit annoying to have to purchase all the singles to get all of the b-sides. nice to have it in one collection.
32I love radiohead. I can't remember what i paid but i know it was more then i would pay for any other band because I want them to keep making music and because they are awesome.
